The Real Person Behind
THE REAL 916
Most people do not start thinking about calling a real estate agent because they are excited. They start because something in life is shifting, and they want to make sure they get the next part right. That is the kind of conversation I care about most.
I have always been drawn to people in transition, the moment when life no longer fits the way it used to, but the next step is not yet clear. That is true in real estate, and honestly, it is true in life.
Home has never felt like just a property to me. It is where life happened. It is the place where your routines, memories, milestones, and hard seasons all live together. That is why I do not take this work lightly. When someone invites me into that decision, I know it is about much more than square footage or timing.
My husband, Kenneth, and I are deeply rooted in this region, and much of the life we love is tied to Northern California, especially the Sacramento Delta. We co-own Northern Latitude Yacht Sales, and being on the water has shaped a lot about how I see life: stay steady, respect the conditions, prepare well, and do not panic when things get choppy.
I have also learned a lot about myself by doing hard things. I have competed in triathlons and cycling events that pushed me past my comfort zone. Kenneth and I have delivered our boat across long stretches of water where focus, resilience, and trust mattered every single day. Experiences like those change you. They teach you patience, perspective, and how to keep moving when the path is not easy.
And some lessons come not from what you do yourself but from watching someone you love do something far harder. My son and other family members have served in the United States military, choosing to protect this country and the freedoms we enjoy every day. That kind of commitment puts everything in perspective. It reminds me what really matters and why the work I do, helping families protect what they've built and move forward with confidence, is something I never take lightly.
Travel has shaped me, too. Seeing how people live around the world, Brazil, Vietnam, Korea, Taiwan, Argentina, and throughout Central America, how they gather, how they create home, how differently a place can feel from one culture to another, has only deepened my respect for what home means. It is never just a house. It is identity, stability, comfort, history, and hope for what comes next.
That is a big part of why I created THE REAL 916. I wanted to build something that felt honest, grounded, and human. A place where people could come for real guidance, clear answers, and a calmer way to make an important decision.
If you are thinking about your next move, whether you are ready now or just starting to sort through the idea, I would love to be one of the first conversations you have.
No pressure. No pitch. Just honest guidance from someone who genuinely cares about helping people get the next part right.
